TWD: Four Star Chocolate Bread Pudding
Lauren of Upper East Side Chronicle has chosen chocolate bread pudding for TWD this week. Even though it's yet another recipe that calls for chocolate, I still went ahead and gave it a try because I've not baked bread pudding before.
Using a 5-inch souffle dish, I made a quarter of the recipe and also substituted half of the raisins with dried cranberries. The bread pudding was not bad, but I would like it more if it's a non-chocolatey version. I'm glad that I included cranberries in it, as it lends a tangy flavour to the dessert.
Don't forget to check out Lauren's blog for recipe!

Great job!
You can even make bread pudding look delicate! lol
I'm glad you enjoyed it (or I think you did, with the tanginess of the cranberries!)
I have to admit, it is nice to expand your knowledge, and make something for the first time. If if as simple as bread pudding.
Where did you get it???
Sara - I thought of using cherries as well but I couldn't find it in local stores. I bet your pudding must be really yummy.
Michelle - LOL! That happens to me very often too. ;-)
Vibi - Thanks for your compliment. I'm glad that I tried the recipe out, at least now i know how to make bread pudding!
Chocolatechic - The towel is pretty, isn't it? I got it from Japan.
Chris - Thanks for dropping by!
I'll have to say that I prefer non-choc bread pudding but I didn't have any trouble finishing mine!
