SHF #10 - Honey

The theme of this month's Sugar High Friday is HONEY, hosted by one of my favourite bloggers, Nic of Bakingsheet.

The problem is, I am not familiar with the use of honey as an ingredient. The only frequent use of honey for me is to drink it with water!

I've been procrastinating until this Sun, when I looked at the calendar and realised that the deadline for SHF submission was only 5 days away! As I only cook during weekends, so that means I must whip up something fast! No time to leaf through my cookbooks, and so I went onto the internet to search for a recipe that is simple and it has to include the ingredients that are currently available in my kitchen...

Well, there you have it, Phyllo Nest with Nectarine Slices and Honey, a recipe from Epicurious. It's so simple that I only spent 30 minutes preparing it... and gobbled it up in a few gulps!

Nice dessert Piggy. I don't use a lot of honey in cooking either, but great job!
