Flower Tea

I had fun playing with my new toy this afternoon. It's a Canon Powershot Pro 1, well, actually I bought it about a month back. My object was a very interesting flower tea, it's from my brother who came back from China recently.

The flower tea (leaf?) looks like a mushroom, and it's only half the length of a AAA size battery:

Once it was dumped in a cup of hot water, it blossomed into a beautiful flower within a few seconds...

Looks interesting, does it not? As for the taste... I'm not an avid tea-drinker, so it tasted like normal Chinese tea to me...

What a lovely looking tea! Even with the regular flavor I can imagine this would be so pretty to whip out after a nice lunch/dinner with friends...

This tea flower looks spectacular! Even if you're not that keen on the flavour, you can use it as a table centrepiece! :)

Hi Carol,

My brother went to China recently. He got to know a tea shop owner and he got the tea for free! ;-)
