TWD: Buttery Jam Cookies

I've made yet another batch of cookies for TWD event this week. Buttery jam cookies is a recipe picked by Heather of Ramdomosity and the Girl, which is essentially a basic butter cookies swirled with jam. I'm using my homemade peach jam (again!) instead of apricot jam called for in the recipe. The addition of ground ginger gave an interesting flavour to the cookies too.

Please go over to Heather's blog for recipe, and I'll be heading to the kitchen now to have my afternoon tea with some of these cookies. ;-)

I made these but did not blog about it because I was not too happy with the taste. Maybe using peach jam is the ticket :)

Your cookies are very nicely shaped. Yours must have tasted so much better using your home made peach jam. I can't really taste much of the ginger though.

Love your photos, the composition is always so beautiful.

Yes a well blended tea would work wonders with this cookie dish. Behind The Burner has some nice blends that would work well check out there recipes.
