TWD: Quick Classic Berry Tart

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've spending my time doing something else, e.g. doing handicrafts (not very productive) and playing games on Facebook (a complete waste of time). I admit that I've been very lazy, to the extent that I chose to skip taking part in TWD last week, just because it's troublesome to get the ice-cream maker out of the box!

Anyway, quick classic berry tart from Dorie Greenspan's Baking: From My Home to Yours is a great choice for a lazy person like me. And I also have no excuse to skip this recipe since I have half a batch of sweet tart dough sitting in the fridge! All I needed to do was to roll out the dough, baked a few tartlet crusts, prepared the pastry cream and then laid some cherries and mangoes on the tartlets. It's that easy! So if you have not bake any tart before, or when you crave for desserts but don't feel like spending too much time in the kitchen, this recipe is for you!

If you want to give this recipe a try, head over to Cristine's blog!

I love the tart! Mini and rectangular. Good luck with your facebook addiction too!
The bright colors of this dessert makes it looks so good! I love fruit desserts like this as it always seems healthier than cake. Of course I eat more of it, so that cancels out the healthy aspect! :)
