TWD: Chunky Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Chocolate Chipsters

When I found out that Stephany chose chunky peanut butter and oatmeal chocolate chipsters for the participants of TWD to bake this week, I thought to myself, wow, what a name for cookies. The name is quite long and it actually sounds more like tongue-twister to me than anything else. :-P But that doesn't matter at all, because this cookies rock! I made half a batch, which yielded about 35 pieces and all of them was gone by Day 2. :-)

I followed the recipe quite closely, but the old-fashioned oats was replaced with multi-grains (oats flakes, rye flakes, linseed & sunflower seed). And the white bits shown in my cookies are actually some leftover white sesame from the beef pies that I made the day before, so that it will not go to waste.

Anyway, hubby likes the cookies so much that he's asking when will I bake again. My doggy was also attracted to the cookies and was caught red handed when she's trying to grab a piece for herself!

Recipe can be found here.

Piggy! How are you holding up in your new place? How's the heat in door when you bake? Anyway, this is the only cookie I will eat from my company's cafetaria, so much so that the people in cafetaria knows what to get me when I show up during tea break. ;)
